How the Success Fee Works
Last updated: September 22, 2026
The Success Fee is a percentage of your Superfiliate programs' performance, calculated on the net revenue of approved conversions in your Referral and Creators programs.
To see the percentage that applies to your account, go to Settings > Pricing Plans.

What Counts as Net Revenue
Net revenue is the order subtotal after discounts. It excludes:
Taxes,
Shipping and delivery charges.
Example:
Line | Amount |
|---|---|
Product subtotal | $100.00 |
Discount applied | −$20.00 |
Shipping | $8.00 |
Tax | $6.40 |
Net revenue used for the Success Fee | $80.00 |
Net revenue is not the same as your creator commission base
These two calculations are configured independently:
Net revenue is a fixed definition. It determines what Superfiliate charges you, and it always excludes shipping and taxes.
Creator commission follows your reward settings and may optionally include shipping and/or taxes.
Because of this, the amount a creator earns on an order, and the amount your Success Fee is calculated on may be based on different totals. This is expected behavior, not a discrepancy.
When the Success Fee Is Charged
If you are billed through Shopify
The fee is automatically collected through Shopify when an approved conversion happens in your Referral or Creators programs.
If you are billed monthly through Stripe
Fees for approved conversions accrue during your subscription period and appear on your next Stripe invoice, listed alongside your platform fee.
The date that matters is your subscription renewal date, not the end of the calendar month. If your subscription renews on the 12th, a conversion approved on the 20th appears on the invoice issued on the 12th of the following month.
Note: Usage fees are not invoiced automatically during a Stripe trial. If a Success Fee is collected during a trial period, it is handled separately from your regular invoice.
