Email Templates & Signatures
Last updated: August 17, 2026
Overview
Templates and signatures let you reuse email content and automatically brand your outgoing mail. Both are centrally managed in Communications → Email → Settings, and apply across the inbox, bulk emails, and automations.
Templates
Templates save subject + body so you don't start from scratch every time.
Where they live: Email → Settings → Templates. Templates are shop-level and reusable in three places: composing in the inbox, bulk sends, and automation email steps.
Creating / saving a template:
In Settings → Templates, open the template editor to create one (give it a title, subject, and body).
Or, while composing a bulk email, fill in the subject and body and click Save as template.
Using a template: On the Message step (bulk), in the composer/automation email step or in the inbox compose, click Templates to browse saved templates. Selecting one populates both the subject and body; you can edit after loading. Variables inside the template still personalize per creator.
Attachments: A template's attachments must total under 20 MB.
Signatures
Signatures are automatically appended to the end of your outgoing emails.
Per-inbox signatures.
Each connected inbox can have its own signature, configured by the inbox owner in Settings → Signature.
Signatures are managed by inbox owners
Signature body is limited to ~100 KB.
Bulk sends — which signature is used
When the bulk sender resolves to a connected inbox, that inbox's default signature is appended.
When no connected inbox matches the sender (e.g. SendGrid-only sending), Superfiliate falls back to the legacy shop-wide (custom) signature — the one you edit via the Add signature / Edit signature modal on the bulk Message step.
Editing a signature
Click Edit signature. Changes apply to future emails only — already sent or scheduled emails are not updated.
Deleting a signature
Open the Edit Signature modal and click Delete signature.
