How to create a new program in Superfiliate
Last updated: October 15, 2026
Overview
A program is how you organize your creators or affiliates. It gives them a portal, links, codes, and rewards in one place. This article walks through creating a new program.
A program's discount, creator reward, safety rules, and cashback all come from a reusable Link & Code Setup (previously called Reward Group). You can build one beforehand or create it while setting up the program.
Before you start: have a Link & Code Setup ready
Every program uses a Link & Code Setup, which defines:
Customer discounts
Creator rewards (commissions)
Safety rules
Cashback
To build one ahead of time, follow How to configure a Link & Code Setup. You can also create one during the Rewards step below.
Creating the program
Go to Programs → New Program and complete the 4-step wizard.
Step 1 — General Details
Select the program type:
Creators: best for influencers, affiliates, creators, podcasts, and newsletters.
Referral & Loyalty: best for customer referral programs.
Name your program. For example: Ambassador Program, VIP Creators, or Referral Program.
Step 2 — Rewards
Choose the Link & Code Setup this program will use. You can either:
Select an existing Link & Code Setup, or
Create a new Link & Code Setup during setup.
Important: A Link & Code Setup can be shared across multiple programs. Any change you make to it affects every program that uses it.
To switch a program to a different Setup later, see How to assign or change a Program's Setup.
Step 3 — Experiences
Configure the experiences for the program:
Duplicate experiences from another program. Copy landing pages, portals, and cobranded experiences from an existing program to speed up setup. You can also do this later: see How to Duplicate Experiences in Existing Programs.
Enable multiple links creation by your Superfiliates. When enabled, affiliates can create additional (secondary) links inside their portal. This is useful for specific campaigns, different traffic sources, and content tracking. See How to Create Secondary Links for Affiliates.
Step 4 — Review
Review all program settings. Once everything looks correct:
Click Create Program.
Your program is ready to use.
Best practices
Reuse Link & Code Setups across programs to simplify management, keeping in mind that edits apply to every program using them.
Enable safety rules in your Link & Code Setup to reduce fraud risk.
Configure a reward delay (hold period) if your brand allows returns or refunds.
Duplicate experiences to speed up onboarding.
Review subscription and returning-customer settings in your Link & Code Setup before launch.
