Choose where your creator links send shoppers

Last updated: October 16, 2026

Send shoppers to the page that fits your campaign, whether that's a product, collection, or your store's homepage.

A redirect destination is the page shoppers reach after clicking a creator's referral link when your program's Cobranded Landing Page is disabled. You can set a destination for the program or choose a different one for an individual creator.

Changing this setting changes where the referral link takes shoppers. Creators should continue sharing their Superfiliate referral link, rather than the destination address itself.

Landing-page domain or redirect destination?

These settings control different parts of the journey. Settings → Custom Domain changes the hostname used to host Superfiliate’s landing pages. When enabled for your store, it can use a subdomain on another domain you own. A redirect destination chooses the page shoppers reach when Cobranded Landing Pages are disabled; it does not connect a custom landing-page domain.

Choosing a different landing-page domain does not move products, discounts or orders to another store, and it does not add tracking or discount-link support to an external website. Using the storefront’s root domain remains recommended for tracking. Read Custom Domain Set Up before choosing another domain.

Choose the right destination option

Where you want shoppers to go

Select

What to enter

A page on the store domain shown in the form

Page on your store (Recommended)

The part after the domain, such as /collections/all

Another domain of the same Shopify store, such as a regional storefront or a headless site that supports discount links

Another storefront or domain of this same store

The complete address, starting with https://

A separate website, or a custom storefront that can't apply discount links

External URL

The complete address, starting with https://

If you're unsure how your storefront and checkout are connected, ask your website team or Superfiliate support before choosing an option for another domain.

Page on your store

Use this for pages on the store domain displayed in the form. This is the recommended option for most stores, and the form marks it Recommended.

The domain is already filled in and can't be edited here. Enter only the page's path, which is the part of its address after the domain:

  • Homepage: /

  • All products: /collections/all

  • A specific collection: /collections/summer

  • A product: /products/travel-bag

For example, if the displayed domain is https://www.example.com and the page you want is https://www.example.com/collections/summer, enter /collections/summer.

Keep the starting /. Don't paste the full address into this field or repeat the domain.

This option uses your store's normal discount and tracking setup. Any discount still depends on your program settings and the shopper's eligibility.

Another storefront or domain of this same store

Use this when shoppers should land on another domain connected to the same Shopify store, such as a regional or localized storefront, or a headless site that supports discount links.

Enter the full address, for example:

https://de.example.com/collections/summer

Superfiliate applies the creator's discount through that domain before sending the shopper to the page. Shopify market domains of your store handle this automatically, and clicks and orders are tracked as usual.

A headless or custom storefront needs two things set up by your developers: support for discount links, and the Superfiliate storefront script. Without them, shoppers may get a "Page not found" error and visits won't be tracked. The form shows a Check that this domain can apply discount links warning as a reminder, with a link to Using Superfiliate with a Headless Storefront.

Confirm that the domain belongs to the same Shopify store. A similar website name does not establish that connection, and saving the address does not verify that the destination supports this flow.

This option is shown for Shopify-connected stores.

External URL

Use this for a destination on a separate website, or a custom (headless) storefront that can't apply discount links.

Enter the full address, for example:

https://shop.example.com/summer

The form shows a Discounts and tracking may not work on this site warning for this option. For an external destination:

  • The creator's discount isn't applied automatically. Superfiliate sends shoppers straight to the destination, without its discount-application step.

  • Sales are credited when shoppers enter the creator's code at checkout, or when the site runs the Superfiliate storefront script.

  • Your website team needs to check the destination's tracking integration and how discounts will be handled.

If your storefront is on a different domain than your Shopify checkout, such as a headless site, it needs the Superfiliate storefront script to track visits. Follow Using Superfiliate with a Headless Storefront to set it up, and contact Superfiliate support to confirm the setup before sharing the link.

Set the destination for a program

  1. Open the program and go to Settings.

  2. Find Experiences → Cobranded Landing Page.

  3. If the landing page is enabled, edit Status, turn it off, and configure the redirect destination in that form. If it's already disabled, edit Redirect destination.

  4. Choose the destination option and enter the path or full address.

  5. Click Save changes.

Creators using the program's default destination will follow this setting.

If the form offers Replace all redirect destinations for this program, including customized ones, select it only when you also want to replace destinations customized for individual creators. Leave it unchecked to keep those individual settings.

Set a different destination for one creator

  1. Open the creator's profile.

  2. In the overview, find Redirect destination and click its edit icon. This setting is available when the creator's program has its Cobranded Landing Page disabled.

  3. Choose an option, enter the destination, and click Save changes.

This changes that creator's destination without changing the program default.

To make the creator follow the program's destination again, reopen the setting and select Return to default.

Check the link before sharing

Open the creator's referral link, not just the destination URL, and confirm that it reaches the intended page.

For Shopify destinations, check the expected discount with an eligible cart. For an external or custom storefront, confirm tracking and discount handling with your website team or Superfiliate support. A page opening successfully does not confirm that sales tracking is working.

Common questions

Why do some options ask for a path and others for a full address?

With Page on your store, Superfiliate already has the domain, so you only enter the page that follows it. The other options let you choose another domain, so they need the complete address.

What should I enter for my homepage?

Choose Page on your store and enter /.

I previously saved a full address on my own store. Why does it now show only a path?

Addresses on your store's own domain are shown under Page on your store, keeping the page, any tracking parameters, and any section link. Shoppers still reach the same page, with the creator's discount applied as before.

Why won't my address save?

Check that a store path starts with /, or that a full address starts with https://. Remove spaces and follow the message beneath the input. A full address won't work in the Store path field.

Can I keep tracking parameters or a link to a section of the page?

Yes. Keep those parts of the address, such as /collections/summer?utm_campaign=summer#featured, as long as the destination page supports them.

I don't see these options. What should I do?

Contact Superfiliate support to check which redirect settings are available for your store.

Is this the same as creating an additional link?

This setting controls the destination of the creator's main referral link. To give a creator additional links for other pages, use secondary links.
